RealScore vs Zillow Zestimate

A Zestimate tells you a price. RealScore tells you whether the property is actually worth buying — with risk analysis, growth insights, and a clear recommendation verdict.

What is the Zillow Zestimate?

Zillow's Zestimate is a home value estimator that uses public records and recent comparable sales to predict a market price. It's a useful starting point for sellers and buyers, but it answers only one question: what is this home likely worth today?

Buyers need more than a number. Is the neighborhood appreciating or stagnating? Are there flood, infrastructure, or oversupply risks? Is the asking price fair, inflated, or a steal? A price-only estimator leaves all of that unanswered.

The Recommendation Verdict

The single biggest gap in price-only estimators is that they never tell you what to do. RealScore closes that gap. Every report ends with one of three verdicts:

That verdict is what turns a valuation into a decision.
